WAKA will be hosting an "Early Bird Special" Thursday Night at Dick's Last Resort in the Excalibur Hotel. The folks from GoWAVA & Kickball365 are planning to attend, are you?!
From the WAKA Official 2009 Founders Cup Schedule, "The Early Bird Social 8pm- 3am (closing ) Dick’s Last Resort- Excalibur Hotel - Looking to hook up and hang out with other WAKA players? Just mention “WAKA” at the door, and there is no cover charge plus special WAKA food & drink discounts. WAKA guests will have exclusive access to the strip-side outdoor patio and will be entered in to a drawing for a free hotel stay giveaway for any Harrah’s property (good through 10/31/2010)."
Venue: Dick's Last Resort, located at The Excalibur Hotel & Casino.
If you've never been to a Dick's then you're in for a treat. Dick’s is famous for its messy cuisine, zany décor, rowdy wait staff, live bands and let-loose atmosphere, Dick’s Last Resort staff will provide plenty of entertainment be perfect for the kickball group. The Kickball Group will have its own dedicated staff for the night consisting of the best bartenders, waiters, and food/drink runners Dick’s employs.
Food and Drinks
Dick’s Last Resort and The Insiders have customized a menu that will be offered only to the people who check-in with the Kickball Group. The menu has a variety of food and beer options and is discounted from Dick’s regular prices.
Activities
FREE Hotel Stay Giveaway
- Upon arrival, WAKA Kickball Guests can enter his/her name for random drawing in which The Insiders will be drawing a name at 1am that one lucky winner will receive a FREE 2 night stay at the Las Vegas Harrah’s property of his/her choice. The Insiders will provide FREE transportation to and from the airport. Harrah’s properties include: Caesars Palace, Paris, Flamingo, Rio, Harrah’s, Bally’s and Imperial Palace. The winner does not have to be present at time of drawing.
Live Band
Pannama, a local band, will perform live, inside on stage, from 9:00pm-12:00am. They interact with the audience and take special requests.
